THE ASSOCIATION is celebrating their 10th birthday this year and every year grows from strength to strength.

We were initially formed with the help of the Parish Council and the Rural Development Commission and to this day we still get a lot of support from the Parish Council with regards to grants.

The aim of the association is (1) To further the interest of its members, (2) Protect the interests of individual Businesses, (3) Discuss problems and exchange information affecting businesses in St Osyth and (4) To involve the Village with Social Activities. Since I have been on the committee of the Association I feel that we have achieved these aims and I hope that we will continue to do so.

We produce a printed directory every two years and it is a free publication to every resident in the Parish of St Osyth, Point Clear and Chisbon Heath. We are only able to do this with the support of all the businesses listed on this website and in the directory. The committee would like to thank them for this support.

Our other main event is the open air Music Concert. It is held within the Village and is free to all residents and friends attending the event, the money made from parking and collections has been donated to local organisations within the Parish.

This year we have ask Voluntary Organisations to submit an article about themselves, and we have received 22, these are published in the directory and can be found under St Osyth Parish Directory on this website.

We are a strong village with many businesses and organisations and we hope this will continue, we also hope that existing Parishioners, Visitors and new Families moving to our village find this website and/or the directory interesting.
