Our WI is not the same "Jam & Jerusalem" organisation that it was when we started 60 years ago. Forget all those set, rather staid ideas. We are now a group of outgoing, fun loving women of all ages who meet once a month to enjoy an evening of entertainment, information and introduction to many activities and occupations in society today.

We have speakers on many interesting topics and demonstrations of crafts, some of which are "hands-on". There are coffee mornings arranged at different venues each month; theatre trips and participation in events organised by other WI’s. We are a very happy group of about 50 members but there is always room for more. Anyone  interested can come along as a visitor for a couple of meetings, decide whether you like us and then join.

We meet on the 2nd Monday of each month in the Village Hall at 7.30pm (see poster in Post Office window). Please come along, we will make you most welcome.
